jayson: The Kooks - “Kids” (MGMT Cover
Every now and then I’ll miss a great cover by another great band. This is an acoustic cover of MGMT’s “Kids” by the Kooks. I think it’s a superbly odd listen; stripping down MGMT’s thick, spacey musical layers into nothing but the guitar and vocal lines reveal a truly excellent pop song. If it didn’t staple itself in your brain before, I’m sure it will now.
